My blog is moving: This is the last post here

I have been working really hard for the past month on my new brand, Rustin Michael. I also created a new website and blog. You won't notice many changes with the blog but my website is all new. This blog will remain online but will no longer be updated. Just go over to www.rustinmichael.com to see the new look.

New Portrait Section

With the new addition to our family I plan to add professional newborn and children’s photography to my business. Since this is a new extension of my business, I want to offer any of my blog readers in the Los Angeles / Orange County area the chance to be some of my first clients.

1. A free weekday sitting/session fee (a $250 value)
2. Images from the session hosted online for purchasing and viewing with no minimum purchase required.
3. 50% off all prints for the first 30 days after going online

Happy New Year

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I am excited about the coming weeks and months and am looking forward to having a great 2008.


Here are a few of my upcoming plans in the next few weeks:


Jan 5th - I get to travel (which I love) to shoot a wedding for a great couple in Ohio. Tune in next week for images from their wedding.


Jan 16th - Taking a day trip to visit my album manufacturer, Leather Craftsmen, to check out the plant floor.


Jan 31st - Going to PMA, the largest photography trade show, in Las Vegas to check out all the new toys.


Sometime in Jan - Launching two new websites. A redesign for my wedding work and a new site to feature my fine art, nature, and other work.
