My blog is moving: This is the last post here

I have been working really hard for the past month on my new brand, Rustin Michael. I also created a new website and blog. You won't notice many changes with the blog but my website is all new. This blog will remain online but will no longer be updated. Just go over to www.rustinmichael.com to see the new look.

My new blog is located at www.rustinmichael.com/blog. See you there!

Here is a shot of my new logo (thanks to Steve McAdam of Transitional Progress), the new splash page, and two shots of my new business cards.

Association of Bridal Consultants Fashion Show and Luncheon

Last Wednesday, the 13th, I had the chance to photograph the Association of Bridal Consultants of Los Angeles Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. This mansion is a historic building that has been used in many of my favorite films including Ghostbusters, Spiderman, Spiderman 2, The Prestige, X-Men, The Big Lewbowski, and many others.

I was selected as one of the featured companies for the day. There were so many great vendors that came together to make this luncheon happen. Please keep the following vendors in mind for your future wedding or event.
Catering - Patina Catering.
Coordination - Carol Saunders of Grand Events.
DJ services - Matthew Beaumont of Celebrations Mobile DJ Services.
Music - Del Lago Trio.
Linens and rentals - The Korman Group and Town & Country Rentals.
Favors - Belle Paquet
Floral Design - Jackie Combs
Bridal Gowns - The Ivory Suite
Hats & Head Adornment - Lyn Frances
Make-Up - Make-Up Therapy
Fashion Show Cordination - Simply Mumtaz Events
Gift Shop - Dadiva Shop

Here are some of my favorite images from the day.

Hope in the City, Part 3

Here is the final post for Hope in the City. I had such a blast working with everyone and hope we can work together soon. I am so thankful for all the amazing people I have met while helping out with the Hope in the City Fashion Show.

Hope in the City, Part 2

I had a blast photographing the Hope in the City Fashion Show. It took so many people to pull this off. There had to be at least 30 people in the loft as everyone was getting ready. Here are some shots of everyone getting ready.

A group shot of the hair/make-up artists and models.

Here are some of the talented artists that made this possible.
Sara Jane - Make-Up Artist / Hairstylist
Kayti Pillor - Make-Up Artist / Hairstylist
Amanda Jean Sideleau - Make-Up Artist
Latoya Buchanan - Make-Up Artist / Hairstylist
Katlin Skaggs - Make-Up Artist / Hairstylist
Dariela Chavez - Make-Up Artist
Lindsay Strong - Make-Up Artist
Miranda Joy - Make-Up Artist
Ashley Ballou - Hairstylist

Make sure you check back in the coming days for images from a wedding I am shooting tomorrow and Hope in the City, Part 3.
